Hadley Jo’s fundraiser barbecue hosted at BGMU
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Many of you may know Hadley Jo, a brave young girl battling a rare disease that affects her coordination, brain and eyes.
Despite the challenges she faces every day, Hadley Jo’s story has inspired countless people to take action. Today, her nonprofit organization hosted a fundraiser barbecue to raise crucial funds for research into the illness that impacts her life.
All the money raised at this event will go directly to advancing research and treatment options for those with the same rare condition.
Brianne Young, a dedicated volunteer at the event, shared how special this cause is to her.
“This one is pretty special because what Hadley Jo has is very rare, and there’s not a lot of funding allocated to it. So, to be able to raise this money for treatments and a potential cure is just amazing,” she said.
The event brought together a community of supporters, all eager to make a difference in Hadley Jo’s life and the lives of others facing similar struggles.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, hundreds of thousands of dollars have already been raised to support ongoing research. For more information on how you can contribute and support this important cause, please visit the nonprofit’s website.
