Bourbon & Brewfest takes over Bowling Green Ballpark for 9th year

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The community had the opportunity to sip, shop and have a great time at the ninth annual Bourbon & Brewfest.

Different breweries, distilleries and vendors from around the country made their way to Bowling Green Ballpark to offer samples to attendees.

This is one of the most popular events people look forward to each year in Bowling Green, and the turnout proved it.

We spoke to one man from Louisville representing a distillery out of Utah, who says he loves coming down for events like these whenever he’s able.

“High West is actually the first distillery in Utah due to some of their laws. Things kind of loosened up there around the 96 Winter Olympics… The experience has been great… there’s been a lot of people coming out, people trying the whiskeys have really enjoyed it. It’s been a great experience… it’s great to come out and support Bowling Green whenever we can,” Jordan Hines says.

From local favorites like White Squirrel to some larger distilleries like Jim Beam or Maker’s Mark, there was something for everyone at Bourbon & Brewfest…
