Heroes Festival to be hosted by Med Center Health

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Spooky season is just around the corner, and key pillars in the Bowling Green community are getting into the festive spirit a little early this year.

The Med Center EMS, Bowling Green Police Department and Bowling Green Fire Department are joining forces for the annual Med Center Health Heroes Festival.

This exciting event not only promises an abundance of candy but also provides children with the opportunity to interact with first responders in a fun, positive environment.

Stephen Parrot, an advance EMT field supervisor, highlighted the importance of this event, stating, “It’s fun for them to see us in a relaxed situation, allowing us to spend time with them and let them look through the ambulances.”

This interaction fosters a sense of community and trust between families and local heroes.

The Health Heroes Festival will take place this Sunday, Oct. 27, from 2 to 4 p.m., inviting families to come out and enjoy a day of fun.
