Burrell Family McDonald’s celebrates 50th by presenting check to local school
FRANKLIN , Ky. – As excitement built for Friday’s high school football game at Franklin Simpson High School, the local school district is celebrating a major win off the field. Before the kickoff, the Burrell family, owners of the Franklin McDonald’s, presented a generous $10,000 check to the district as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.
This significant donation marks a heartfelt gesture from the family-owned McDonald’s, which first opened its doors in 1974. In recognition of this milestone, the Burrells have been actively giving back to their community throughout the week.
At the Franklin McDonald’s, customers have enjoyed special deals, but the festivities won’t end there. On Saturday, the restaurant will host a grand finale celebration featuring family-friendly activities and plenty of free giveaways. Attendees will have the chance to win tickets to games for the Titans, University of Kentucky, and Western Kentucky University.
