Barren County High School’s Rayna Rudd Nominated for Exceptional Teacher of the Year

BARREN COUNTY, KY.- In South Central Kentucky, one teacher is making a significant impact on her students’ lives through her dedication and passion for education. Rayna Rudd, a special education teacher at Barren County High School, has been named a finalist for the prestigious Kentucky Exceptional Education Teacher of the Year award. Since starting her journey in 2020, Rudd has focused on fostering growth and success among her students.

In a recent interview, she shared her motivation, stating, “Just watching students grow is incredibly rewarding. I get to start working with them when they’re sophomores and follow them through to graduation.” Rudd expressed immense pride in witnessing her students reach their goals and thrive beyond high school.
