Celebrating the revitalization of Old Richardson Place in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky.- Dozens of people gathered in Glasgow on Friday to celebrate the opening of the newly revitalized Old Richardson Place.

This historic site now welcomes the public after undergoing significant transformation, marking 35 years of dedicated service by Computer Data Professionals. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an open house, allowing attendees to fellowship and appreciate the restored building.

Joe B. Richardson, the last living descendant of the Richardson family, spoke passionately about the legacy of those who worked at Richardson Hardware.

“They didn’t do it for a week or a month; they were there for decades,” he said, emphasizing the deep commitment of the staff.

This dedication is reflected in the building’s restoration, capturing the rich history embedded within its walls. The celebration continues tomorrow, as Renew hosts their grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
