Two women shot, one arrested in Franklin
FRANKLIN, Ky. – Two women were shot Friday in Franklin.
Franklin police were called to 809 Spears Avenue at 1:13 p.m. and were met by a woman who told officers she shot two women, according to a release from Franklin Police Department.
Paula Cashman, 66, of Nashville, Tenn. was arrested and charged with attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and receiving stolen property – firearm.
Linda Overstreet, 69, and Catherine Root, 29, both of Franklin were shot and taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. for treatment.
Cashman is lodged in the Simpson County Detention Center.
