New details released in Glasgow house fire
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department is releasing new details regarding a house fire that broke out Friday morning.
According to Chief William Rock, GFD responded to 1009 S. Lewis Street on reports of a house on fire.
The home was fully involved when the first unit arrived. Crews did a search of the structure due to the possibility of someone being home. They tell us no one was located inside of the structure. At the time of the fire there was no power or gas to the structure. The cause of the fire is still undetermined.
There was a secondary building behind the house that was also a total loss. Several departments responded.
We reported that a portion of Roseville Road was closed as crews attempted to battle the fire.
