Rep. Patti Minter files for reelection
FRANKFORT, Ky.- Democratic State Rep. Patti Minter of Bowling Green announced she has filed for reelection.
Joined by her husband Michael, Gov.-elect Andy Beshear and Lt. Gov,-elect Jacqueline Coleman, Minter filed the paperwork at the state capitol on Monday seeking a second term.
Minter represents the 20th district in the Kentucky House of Representatives.
She’s currently serving her first term, having been elected last year with 54% of the vote.
Since being elected, Minter has supported legislation on protecting health care coverage for pre-existing conditions and limiting the coast of insulin.
