Corvette Museum prepares to celebrate 30th anniversary

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The 30th anniversary of an iconic Bowling Green attraction is coming up, and the celebration is set to get underway in just a few short weeks.

The fun kicked off Wednesday with a brand new exhibit called the Toy Emporium, showing off some iconic Corvette toys from throughout the years.

The fun continues August 16-18 with the Cultural Awareness Corvette Weekend… and the National Corvette Caravan returns August 29-31, expecting to bring a ton of people & cars to the area.

“We’re extremely excited about the 30th anniversary. We’re expecting around 6-8,000 people here… that’s gonna be about 4,000 Corvettes… it’s also helping us to remember and get excited for the last 30 years and the next 30 years to come,” director of events & building services Bryce Burklow says.

News 40 will have coverage of the Corvette Caravan, which only happens every 5 years, so make sure to stay tuned to check out all the happenings.
