Vette City Roller Derby takes Commonwealth Wheel

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This weekend was a big one for Bowling Green’s own Vette City Roller Derby, securing their place as the best team in Kentucky for now.

They’ll have to defend their treasure once again in November, but right now the team is flying high after a big win of 176 to 40 in Evansville, Indiana. The women of VCRD are in in full swing right now, putting in a lot of sweat to keep their face sharp going into their off season in December.
