New bike park railroad inspired by Hercules Engine in Park City, KY

PARK CITY, KY.- City officials are taking the time to remember and honor those who made a massive impact on history. The Caveland Environmental Authority partnered with the Geothermal Supply Company to create a bike park designed like the Mammoth Cave Hercules train to honor the Caveland Environmental Authority board member Lewis Cutliff.

They paid tribute to him and other well-known board members by naming it Ol’ Lewis Engine number five and two other benches dedicated to Ol’ Benny and Ol’ Joe.
The chief executive of Caveland Environmental Authority, David Peterson tells us why he chose Lewis. He says, “You take somebody like Lewis and give their life to public service, really, with Mammoth Cave and then sitting on the board for all the many years. so, Lewis has been a great, a great mentor, so I just want to give you back a little.
The bike park is open for anyone and everyone to bike or walk on the trail. For more information visit https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1010796691053852&set=pcb.1010850334381821.
