Warren Central introduces new volleyball head coach

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – High school sports are nearing dead period with the spring side of things coming to a close, but one Warren County school ushered in a new leader this morning ahead of the upcoming fall season.

Warren Central High School announced today that Jordan Fulkerson will take over as head coach for the Lady Dragons volleyball program for the 2024 campaign.

Fulkerson graduated from Warren East back in 2020 after four years playing volleyball herself, and now after finishing up college, she’s ready to stay in Bowling Green to take on her first coaching role.

Her expectations for year one with the Lady Dragons are not to necessarily look for instant success, but rather to grow one day at a time.

“Growth happens in practice every single day. Just showing up, you get a little bit better. So, I really want to focus on ourselves and what we can improve on every day,” Fulkerson said. “I think it’s easy to get caught up in trying to win games and get all these awards and accolades, but I think true success comes from getting better every day and improving within our own team.”
