Bowling Green native wins Miss Kentucky

WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- Many young girls dream of competing in pageants. This weekend, for many young women, the Miss Kentucky scholarship pageant was a dream come true.

The scholarship pageant was held in Warren County, and Bowling Green native Chapel Tinius won the title of Miss Kentucky.

She is ready to take on the responsibility for her hometown and the entire state of Kentucky.

She tells News 40, “Service. That is what got me started in this organization, and that is what keeps me going in this organization, is that it is a platform to get to serve the Commonwealth of Kentucky. So it is very special to get to be a part of something that is so much bigger than yourself. ”
