South Warren Back on the Road for Final Four Weekend
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Thursday over at South Warren High School, the Lady Spartans softball team hit the road for the second straight week, returning to Lexington and the state tournament.
After defeating Elizabethtown and Lexington Catholic last weekend, South Warren is just two games away from a state championship title.
Under head coach Kelly Reynolds, the Lady Spartans will take on Henderson County on Friday, and if they advance, they will battle the winner of Assumption and North Laurel High School in the championship game on Saturday.
The action begins tomorrow against the Lady Colonels at John Cropp Stadium, with first pitch set for 5:30 p.m. local time.
