New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding in need of volunteers

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A local non profit is in desperate need of volunteers.

New Beginnings Therapeutic Riding is asking for your help, and all it takes is just a little bit of your time.

Their mission is to serve those with disabilities, and help them stay active while connecting with horses.

Staff tell us just how important volunteers are to their organization, since they only have 3 part time employees.

“The number one thing in our program are the horses. And the second most important is the volunteers… volunteers help us in so many different ways, such as helping with our participants, helping in the barn, helping with the horses, helping in the office,” Michele Vise says.

If you’re interested in helping out, they hold a volunteer orientation once a month.
