Miss Kentucky 2024 to take place at The SKyPAC

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a big to do for many young women in the state, and this week is the culmination of all their hard work.

At The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center on Wednesday and Thursday, preliminary contests will be going on for Miss Kentucky and Miss Kentucky Teen for the year of 2024 at 7 p.m., with the finals and crowning of Miss Kentucky Teen on Friday at 7 p.m. followed by Miss Kentucky at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Current Miss Kentucky Mallory Hudson and Miss Kentucky Teen Sophia Todd told News 40 on Tuesday morning that it’s a lot of work to prepare for the pageant, with five different pieces coming together to decide the winner.

Though it’s hard work, they say it’s so gratifying to have the position, serving as an employee of the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, spokesperson for Kentucky Proud and a role model to Kentuckians.
