National Corvette Museum named Blue Star Museum

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Recently, we told you about the National Corvette Museum offering free tickets to those that serve our country.

Now, they’re being recognized for this offer. The NCM is now a Blue Star Museum, the only one in South Central Kentucky to receive this honor.

It’s also only 1 of 8 in the entire state of Kentucky to be part of this club.

But what exactly is a Blue Star Museum? We spoke to the Corvette Museum to learn a little more.

“The Blue Star Museum program is through the National Endowment for the Arts, and the museum is very excited to be participating as a Blue Star Museum this year. Beginning Monday, May 18th through September 2nd, we are offering free admission to any active military member and their family,” Mariah Hughes says.
