Local business supports injured teen that performs at Spillway Bar and Grill
BOWLING GREEN, KY.- Businesses, bands and musicians in the South Central Kentucky community are coming together to help support a teen injured in a recent car accident.
Jack Fishback lost control of his vehicle and went down an embankment. He has since been recovering at a Kentucky hospital. The talented teen often performed at Spillway Bar and Grill in Bowling Green. Now the community is hoping to raise money to support his family during his recovery.
Robert Baxter, the co-owner Spillway Bar and Grill tells us “After the first time we seen Jack, we knew he was somebody that needed to be seen on our stage. I had, people immediately messaged me and said, hey, when will he be back. When will he be back on stage? ”
Once everyone found out about the accident, people began to pray and pull together resources to make sure Jack has a chance to get back up on the stage.
Sherri Myers, the audio engineer at Spillway Bar and Grill has a close relationship with Jack and shares, “We just want to do everything we can to help him. He is so gifted and brings so much joy to others with his music, and we just really want to be able to give back to him because of all the joy he’s given to others.”
