Kentucky Nonprofit Network holds regional forum
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky Nonprofit Network held their regional forum at the Historic Rail Park and Train Museum on Wednesday afternoon.
The Kentucky Nonprofit network serves the entire Commonwealth and advocates for nonprofit organizations in every region.
The network educates individuals on the policy issues, the role nonprofits play and their economic importance, but they also use these forums to hear from local agencies.
CEO of Kentucky Nonprofit Network, Danielle Close, says, “Most importantly, listen. What are they seeing? What are they hearing? We as a state association can really only be effective if we understand what opportunities or crisis they are facing, and try to get in front and ahead of those and address them when we can.”
The Kentucky Nonprofit Network will also hold the Kentucky Gives Day, on May 7, 2024, as a state-wide day of online giving, and many non-profits in the area will participate.
