Warren County Government is holding biannual household hazardous waste event
Bowling Green, KY.- The Warren County Government is holding its bi-annual household hazardous waste event. On Saturday, April 20, 2024, members of the community are encouraged to dispose of various types of waste that are not usually picked up by the regular trash service.
Things like drain cleaner, anti-freeze and pesticides are all acceptable things to bring for the county to dispose of, but they ask for no tires.
Nikki Koller, Director of Warren County Storm Management, says “We do this event every year, twice a year, and one of the reasons is the community’s support for it. This community has proven to want to be good stewards of the environment. People want to be responsible, and we want to make sure we give them the opportunity to do that.”
If you have any hazardous things you are looking to get rid of, county officials will be at 999 Lauren Avery Drive, from eight a.m. to one p.m.
