Hilltopper Stephen Warren earns CUSA All-Academic Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — WKU Men’s Golf junior Stephen Warren was named to the CUSA All-Academic Team the league announced on Friday afternoon. Warren is one of five golfers on the team.

The Owensboro, Kentucky native is a biology major and chemistry minor at WKU and has maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA. Warren is no stranger to academic achievement as he was named to the CUSA Commissioner’s Honor Roll and earned the CUSA Commissioner’s Academic Medal last season.

On the course, Warren has had a very successful season for the Red and White. Warren currently holds a 73.82 stroke average through eight tourneys this season. The junior has also logged four finishes in the top-20 this year, including tying for fourth place in the Tops victory in the Xavier Invitational.

Warren and the Hilltoppers will be competing in the CUSA Championship next week. The Tops will tee off in Texarkana, Arkansas Monday morning. Tee times and pairings are yet to be announced.
