Cawthorn commits to Tennessee Tech
FRANKLIN, Ky. – From Lady Cat to Golden Eagle.
Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats forward LaReesha Cawthorn made a verbal commitment to the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Friday.

The junior standout averaged 17.5 points per game, 9.8 rebounds per game and 3.1 steals per game in the Lady Cats’ 30-win season.
Cawthron received state honors by being named to the KHSAA All-State 3rd Team.
Cawthorn will join a Tennessee Tech team led by head coach Kim Rosamond for the 2025-2026 season. The Golden Eagles play in the Ohio Valley Conference (NCAA Division I).
