NCM Motorsport Park Driving Toward a Cure
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The NCM Motorsport Park hosted its fifth annual Drive Toward a Cure on Friday, raising money for Parkinson’s patient care and research for a cure.
April is Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Month, and the motorsports park is doing its part to raise money and awareness. Participants will be able to drive their own car in a lead-follow format for over four laps at a time above highway speeds.
It’s a great way to get out and have some fun while raising money for an amazing cause.
We heard from one Parkinson’s patient, and he tells us how much this event means to him. Kevin Murray, a Drive For a Cure ambassador, says, “There’s a lot of research going on right now. And, unfortunately, research costs money and lots of money. money that we’re raising today, it’s going to go directly towards research. ”
