How to be storm ready from Warren County Emergency Management
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With severe weather set to come in Tuesday, it’s important to stay prepared for the worst.
We spoke to Warren County Emergency Management who gave a few tips on how to prepare for Tuesday’s weather. These include monitoring social media and being aware of your surroundings.
One way to monitor what’s happening is through the News 40 Weather app, available in the App Store and on Google Play for free.
However, they also offered a few more tips to stay safe:
“It’s springtime… it’s storm season… Be prepared. Have a plan. Talk to your family… have a NOAA weather radio in your home and know where your safe shelters are. If you don’t, we offer some throughout the county. We have tornado shelters… find friends and relatives that have a safe place or basement,” Ronnie Pearson, director of Warren County Emergency Management says.

The News 40 Weather team will keep you updated on air, on our website and through the app throughout any severe weather.
