Bowling Green Hot Rods host annual Easterfest

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Hot Rods celebrated Easter in a unique way.

The team hosted three different Easter egg hunts, based on age group, in the outfield of Bowling Green Ballpark.

Over 30,000 eggs were laid out for kids to find. The Easter Bunny & Roscoe also stopped by to get pictures with families.

With just days until Opening Day, we spoke to the General Manager of the Hot Rods who told us how exciting an event like this is this close to the season.

“We’re excited…. six days away till opening day. Friday, April 5th at 6:35 p.m.. Another community event at the ballpark, gearing up for the season. great to see everybody out and hope to see them next Friday,” Kyle Wolz says.

The first 1,000 fans to the stadium on Opening Day receive a replica of Bowling Green Ballpark… plus the first Fireworks Friday of the season caps off the night.

First pitch for Opening Day in Bowling Green is set for 6:35 PM.
