Multi-sport Gator Signs to Continue Career at Brescia
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This evening a Greenwood Gator put pen to paper for not one but two collegiate sports.
Abby Walker signed her letter of intent to play basketball and run track and field at Brescia University next fall, after her time doing the two sports at Greenwood.
Walker excelled both on the court and on the track as a Gator, and now will have the opportunity to translate her talents to the next level as a Bearcat.
After inking her college plans, she shared when she knew playing after high school was possible for her.
“I actually found out earlier this year that I wanted to continue playing. My parents have supported me so much, and then my coaches. I’ve been working with them every day,” Walker said. “I’m really excited. I’m going to miss my teammates and friends here, but I’m really excited to play at the next level.”
