Warren East High School College and Career Fair

WARREN COUNTY, Ky.- Dozens of business organizations and colleges gathered at Warren East High School’s college and career fair to give the students a taste of the real world. The students were able to experience all kinds of careers, from factories veterinarians cosmetology and so much more.

Justin Pate, Warren East High School youth service coordinator, tells us why this is important. He says, “It’s one thing to tell students that the workforce wants them and the community cares about them. It’s another thing when the community shows up and actually shows them, ‘hey, you don’t have to come to us, we’ll come to you,’ so they just expose them to things that some of them just had no idea that they could even dream of something like one of their careers here.”
