Underwater Easter egg hunt at The Core of Scottsville

SCOTTVILLE, Ky.- As Easter approaches, several Easter egg hunts are popping up all over south central Kentucky, but there’s only one that is happening underwater.

The Core of Scottsville is bringing back its annual underwater Easter egg hunt. On the day of the hunt, the pool will be filled with all kinds of eggs, some floating and some sinking, but the Core’s main goal is for everyone to enjoy their time. This event is free for members, and it costs $5 for non-members.

Tiffany Vick, the membership director at The Core of Scottsville, tells us, “It kind of brings you back to that nostalgia of being a kid yourself. But getting to do that, it was just a fun family event. It’s just a great way to bring the community together and just celebrate and have a good time for the kids and something fun for them to do as well.”

The Core of Scottsville tells us that everyone is welcome to the Easter egg hunt this Saturday, March 23 at 9 a.m. at The Core Scottsville.
