Girl Scout Cookie booths to offer in-person sales starting Friday

Girl Scout Cookies

SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY – It’s Girl Scout Cookie season, and the Girl Scouts of South Central Kentucky will be at a location near you.

Starting March 8, Girl Scouts from Warren County, Barren County and many other counties will be set up outside of local business franchises and offering deliveries.

Felicia Bland, a Girl Scout outreach coordinator, tells us how this sweet opportunity is more than just selling cookies – it’s teaching the Girl Scouts valuable life skills that will enhance their future.

“This is the way our girls raise their money. This is the way they learn about goal setting, team building and money management skills that she’s going to need when she becomes an adult. I want people to see that you’re investing in a girl and investing in her business and not just a box of cookies,” Bland says.

According to the Girl Scouts website, some local booth locations that will be open on Friday will include one at Greenwood Mall in Bowling Green from 3 to 5 p.m. and Kroger on Scottsville Road from 4 to 6 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

If you are interested in supporting the Girl Scouts and want to know which booth is closest to you, a full list of local booth locations can be found by searching your zip code in the “find cookies” tool.
