‘Once Upon an Orchestra’ at The Capitol

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s a cute idea born out of COVID that many children have enjoyed since the “In Harmony” tour started.

The Louisville Orchestra wanted to provide more opportunities for families with young children to enjoy music, so they started marrying music and reading as a fun way to engage the youth. With over 200 families RSVP’ing, they actually had to move the event which is usually in the local libraries.

The orchestra said none of their tour would be possible without appropriated funds from state government and they ask that if you have enjoyed what the group has offered over the past year to contact your local legislators and mention to them how beneficial the tour has been.

The group considers themselves a civic organization and wants to educate and build as many relationships across the state as they can.
