Mardi Gras Madness returns to Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Mardi Gras Madness was back this weekend, and it was bigger and better than before at the NCM Motorsport Track.

The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club brings out the south central Kentucky community together every year this offers a wide variety of parades and raffles with all the proceeds going to benefit children.

Cassie Lain Duchess of Lain Royalty Court shares how this impacts everyone who experiences the Mardi Gras event. “I think the biggest thing as far as what it’s done for us is it’s given a lot more opportunity for people to come together, families. It’s a big family event, but overall it’s a whole experience, a Mardi Gras madness.”

All the proceeds will go to children of southcentral Kentucky, and the Kiwanis Club in Bowling Green is encouraging everyone to mark their calendars because this is just the beginning.

The next events will be a Soap Box Derby at Phil Moore Park.
