Theft investigation results in five indictments
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Warren County grand jury indicted five people following a Warren County Sheriff’s Office two-month investigation into thefts from vehicles.
The theft suspects are accused of stealing more than $13,500 worth of items including firearms, prescription medication, money and a vehicle in August and September in the south section of Warren County.
In addition to the five adults indicted Wednesday, the sheriff’s office also charged a juvenile in the thefts.
Destin Long, 19, is charged with five counts of theft by unlawful taking of a firearm, six counts of thefts by unlawful taking from a vehicle and one count each of second-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking of a motor vehicle under $10,000 and theft of a legend drug.
Muhamed Ademi, 19, is charged with theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle, second-degree burglary and theft of a legend drug.
Tyler Nickel, 18, is charged with four counts of theft by unlawful taking of a firearm and three counts of thefts by unlawful taking from a vehicle.
Mason Cline, 28, is charged with trafficking in marijuana less than eight ounces – firearm enhanced.
Christopher Trevor Poteet, 19, is charged with theft by unlawful taking of a firearm and theft by unlawful taking of a motor vehicle under $10,000.
