Warren RECC’s work with Buc-ee’s
SMITH’S GROVE, KY.- The new Buc-ee’s is underway, and thanks to Warren RECC, it will be lit up and ready to go by the time it opens. In about 14 days, WRECC completely installed the transformer for the new Buc-ees in Smith’s Grove, Kentucky. The massive transformer will supply the entire facility with 7200 volts.
Josh Poston, the district manager of Buck Jenkins Service Center shares the part they played in building the new infrastructure. Poston says, “For Buc-ee’s, we knew they were coming, so they gave us time to do some planning and get our stuff ordered. We got their transformer in early, so when it was time to build it, we were ready. We sent the transformer and we made them hot.”
The new Buc-ee’s is located on Scottville Road, and is set to be open this summer. This will offer more than two hundred jobs to people in the commonwealth. Stay tuned into News 40 for more updates on the Buc-ee’s in Smith’s Groove.
