Warren County Clerk’s Office will not be processing March renewals

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- If your vehicle registration does not expire until March 31, the Warren County Clerk’s Office is not processing any March renewals because of the motor vehicle upgrade. The state has officially sent out January, February, and March notices. However, with the new system not functioning properly, the county clerk says the best way to move forward for now is to not do any March renewals.

Warren County Clerk Lynette Yates shares how the office how the new system has impacted drivers and the staff. She says, “A lot of the fees were incorrect. There were. Some are, some aren’t. So there’s no determining what’s in the system. We have no way of knowing what’s right and wrong. So just hold off, because March is just not correct.”

The Warren County Clerk’s office is urging everyone not to wait in line or mail in their fees. If your tags don’t expire until March 31st. For more information call your county clerk’s office.
