Barren County announces John Myers as New Football Head Coach
GLASGOW – John Myers will be taking over as the Barren County Trojans new football coach.
Myers replaces three-year head coach Tommy Muse.
Myers is no stranger to the area. For the past six football seasons, he was the offensive coordinator for the Glasgow Scotties.
Prior to that was his most recent head coaching experience was at Russellville where he led the panthers to a 118-57 record and 21 playoff wins in his 14 seasons.
The trojans were 5-6 in 2023, but hosted their first playoff game in 23 years this past season.
