New Kavis system implemented in county clerk’s offices across Kentucky

WARREN COUNTY, KY.- The new KAVIS system at county clerk’s offices across Kentucky has been put in place.

This new system is set to streamline the process for license plates in the Department of Motor Vehicles at county clerk’s offices across the entire Commonwealth.

Here in Warren County, some things are working and some things are not. This is why the county clerk is urging everyone when you come in, make sure to have prepared and printed copies of your information, especially your insurance.

Warren County Clerk Lynette Yates shares her point of view.

She says, “It is a little trying for everybody right now. And I know it’s time for the customers that are standing in line. One of my biggest pieces of advice to everyone who is coming in to do renewals is that there are some things that we’re working through, but come prepared.”
