The Feeding Faith reopens to provide meals in Scottsville every Monday
SCOTTSVILLE, Ky.- If you’re hungry and looking for a free hot meal, you don’t have to look any further than an organization in Allen County.
For the first time since COVID, The Feeding Faith is open for anyone in need. Thanks to help from several volunteers and people donating money or their time, so many people in the Scottsville community and the surrounding areas will have a place that will not only feed their stomach but also their faith.
Co-director Kinsey Meador shares how this experience impacts her.
Meador says, “It’s such a humbling experience, and we’ve not even seen anybody yet. But you know, there’s been so many volunteers that have reached out that are just willing to help however they can in whatever capacity.”
Anyone who needs a good hot meal or just a safe place to go and connect with the community, The Feeding Faith is for you.
You can find them every Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Washington Center in Scottsville at 110 S. Court St. For more details, you can also visit their Facebook page.
