WNKY News 40 Weather Forecast

News 40 Weather | Welcome to Second Summer!

RAIN PLEASE!
What do we want?! RAIN! When do we want it?! NOW! Unfortunately, aside from an isolated sprinkle overnight tonight, things aren’t looking promising. We keep watching the models that want to put in an isolated or scattered shower chance early next week but the forecast models don’t all agree on if that will happen which means there isn’t really any good data to support the idea. We’ll continue to watch the evolving data as it unfolds.
Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s in the coming days. It sure seems like we’ve got a second summer developing!
90s? AGAIN?!
While temperatures today will only be slightly above average, we will see temperatures be solidly into the 90s soon. Along with the warmer conditions, we will see mostly clear skies over the weekend before we get more clouds into the skies as we start the new workweek.
