Daniel Cameron and Rand Paul make campaign stop in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN Ky. – Republican candidate for Kentucky governor Daniel Cameron made a campaign stop together with Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul today as they were touring the commonwealth.
Cameron made managed to answer some questions that were raised over comments he made during the Monday night debate with Democrat incumbent Gov, Andy Beshear. Most notably, what the candidate meant when he stated that the race is not about Republican versus Democrat, but about crazy vs normal.
“I mean, it’s crazy to have a governor who would release 2,000 criminals back in to our streets, making our law enforcement job more difficult and our communities less safe. It’s crazy to have a governor who doesn’t understand the importance of protecting women’s sports from biological males,” Cameron said.
There will be two gubernatorial debates next week, one on Monday and another on Tuesday. The election is drawing close, happening on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
