Is Simpson County’s Octagon Hall haunted?

SIMPSON COUNTY, Ky. – As Halloween approaches, everyone’s looking for a spooky adventure and maybe News 40 has the next stop for you.

There’s a place in Simpson County called Octagon Hall, it’s firstly a Civil War museum but it’s also a paranormal hotspot apparently. Museum staff told News 40 that many strange things happen around the property, like shadow figures or voices in the house. The house has a lot of deep and interesting history, unfortunately it’s sad for many people, such as the thousands of civil war soldiers who died on the property or the families who met untimely ends.

The assistant director of the museum said that the museum is a bucket list item for many paranormal investigators and many people have had experiences in the house and on the surrounding land.

If you’re interested in history or ghosts, the Octagon Hall would be happy to have you. You can find more information at http://octagonmuseum.com.
