“It’s all the rage!”, dog fashion designer in Cave City

CAVE CITY, Ky. – Everyone’s got a hobby, and Michelle Harper’s is interesting and highly sought after by some. She makes bandannas, tutus and other clothing items for dogs, primarily.

She used to have her own dogs modeling for a company but her mother suggested to her around a year ago that she could just make her own, and save a good amount of money. Since then, she’s been shipping clothes across the world.

Her husband helps out as well as, using his love of cooking, he makes all the treats that go out with clothing orders. Anthony Harper said he supports his wife in everything she does, and he said he’s quick to pull up the website to show off what his wife does in her spare time.

If you didn’t know, there’s a play on the popular Vogue Magazine titled Dogue Magazine, which is centered around canine couture, Michelle was featured in a recent issue but hopes to be featured on the cover in the future, she said the experience is crazy, but she loves it all the same.
