‘The Blind’ movie premiere and meet and greet with Willie and Korie Robertson
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- If you’ve heard the phrase Happy, Happy, Happy, you may know of the Robertson Family and the Duck Dynasty crew.
The family has made a new movie, called “The Blind,” and visited Bowling Green’s Regal Cinema for the premiere. The family called out to its fan base to choose any three theaters that were showing the premiere.
Bowling Greens Duck Dynasty fan base did not disappoint and made the top three locations, along with Fort Worth, Texas and Knoxville, Tennessee.
A meet and greet was also on the agenda for the family, at these three locations, and Willie Robertson and his wife Korie were the special guests in Bowling Green. They met nearly 500 people, some of which traveled hundreds of miles.
In an introduction to the movie premiere, Korie Robertson says, “To get to tell the Families story, has just been incredible, and really more emotional than any of us expected. Phil and Kay do tell their story a lot, but to see it on the big screen, you are about to see, you know its emotional, its raw, its real.”
A long-time Duck Dynasty fan at the Premiere, Anna Reid, says “I’ve been following along for as long as I can remember. When we lived in Georgia and they used to come on every Wednesday night, we’d go to church, have it recorded, and watch it before we all went to bed. It’s just something I’ll be able to experience and be able to say later on down the road, I was here for their opening.”
This movie tells the story of how the dynasty started, and the ups and downs the family has had along their journey. The tickets for the premiere sold out within hours, including a ticket to the movie and the meet and greet. “The Blind” is now playing in theaters.
