Hart County’s annual Civil War Reenactment

HART COUNTY, Ky.- In Hart County, some history was repeated. Now it’s for the better, to commemorate the civil war and unite the community.

From an authentic 1860’s baseball game to a traditional ladies tea, Hart County’s Battle for the Bridge is a chance for people to be remembered and gave Hart County residents the chance to come together.

We learned from a local resident of Hart County what this event is all about.

She says, “People really enjoy coming out and seeing all their neighbors and we also have people here from surrounding counties. People come back who once lived here so it’s lots of fun meeting people that you have know in the past and seeing the same reenactors come back year after year.”
