Fourth of July in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Everywhere across the country, people are celebrating America’s 247th birthday.
With Independence Day here, citizens are setting out for the lake, the grill and, of course, the famed fireworks. News 40 wanted to see what the community had to say.
Some fireworks merchants said this season has been a good one and better than last year. Much of south central Kentucky had some form of burn ban or restriction around the holiday.
We also ran into a man who expressed he was proud to be an American, saying that he enjoyed being able to honor the military for the holiday.
