Harvest Bakery & Cafe supports local immigrants

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In the downtown area, two missionaries are continuing their work stateside by trying to help Bowling Green’s immigrant community.

Wesley and Kimberly Page spent some time overseas with their children in China and Thailand as missionaries, learning about other cultures while spreading Christianity to rural communities. After having to return to the U.S., the Pages did what they did overseas, and started up a bakery.

Kimberly said she had always been one to enjoy the kitchen and with this, she’s hoping to provide some stability and comfort for those new to the country. Kimberly said it’s important to “show grace” because in a job, you’re bound to mess up at some point and her as well as her husband know how hard it can be to adjust to a whole new culture.
