Bowling Green East Little League advances to Little League World Series

INDIANAPOLIS – Bowling Green East Little League 12s are headed to the Little League World Series.

BG East defeated River Forest, Ill., 15 to 6 to win the Great Lakes Region Championship on Saturday evening.

This is BG East’s third trip to the Little League World Series since 2015.

BG East will play the Midwest Regional Champions from Coon Rapids, Minn., on Thurs., Aug. 15 in the first round of the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
