Bowling Green Housing Authority rolls out new units for senior residents
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-The Housing Authority of Bowling Green has revealed a new housing option for residents in the area.
A ribbon cutting was held on phase two of Fort Webb Manor.
The 20 new units are located in the 500 block of Coombs Dr.
There was a $2.8 million was the price tag on the project, which started back in March.
For a one-bedroom unit, the cost for monthly rent is $555, and for a two-bedroom unit, it jumps up to $675.
Special Projects Director with the Bowling Green Housing Authority, Katie Miller, said she’s glad that this project is complete.
“It feels great to know that we’re providing 20 affordable housing units in the bowling green warren county area. We started the project in March of last year, and it has finally come to fruition,” Miller said
The units are available for those 55 and older.
