18-year-old from Bowling Green accused of stabbing boyfriend
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- An 18-year-old from Bowling Green is behind bars, accused of stabbing her boyfriend inside of her apartment.
Darrian Scott is charged with first-degree assault-domestic violence after Bowling Green police said she intentionally caused serious physical injury by means of a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.
On Sunday, officers responded to the 2000 block of Rockcreek Drive in reference to a disturbance.
According to an arrest citation, when police arrived, they found Scott holding towels around the leg of her boyfriend. Police said there was a large amount of blood throughout the apartment.
Police said the boyfriend suffered stab wounds to his leg and hand from a kitchen knife.
He was taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green for treatment, while Scott was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.
