Armed Warren County man with toddler involved in standoff with authorities

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- After hours of negotiations, a standoff between an armed man and Warren County deputies came to a peaceful end early Saturday morning.

According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a domestic violence complaint in the 200 block of Charlotte Drive just before 9 p.m. Friday.

Investigators learned that Thomas Moss, 32, had barricaded himself inside the residence with his 18-month-old daughter and was armed.

After several hours of negotiations, Moss surrendered to deputies without incident.

Moss was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail at 2:49 a.m. Saturday.

Moss is charged with fourth-degree assault and wanton endangerment.
